Aparna heads the Family and Matrimonial Dispute Resolution Practice in the Firm. Having had an extensive practice and experience in handling various kinds of civil, commercial disputes in the intital years of her practice,she now specialises in advising on complex issues pertaining to disputes arising out of domestic relationships including but not limited to child custody, divorce, judicial separation, conjugal rights etc.,Being a recognized POSH Trainer,she has also advised several corporations on setting up of the Anti Sexual Harassment Committees at Workplaces and supports the functioning of such Committees by conducting trainings and awareness campaigns. Aparna is also an active member of several organizations supporting and working on human right related issues and provides pro bono support to such entities.
Aparna got her law degree from Kannur University and is the Gold Medalist for the year 2006. She has also got a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (Vocational) from Bangalore University and topped her college for the year 2002. She is a qualified Mediator and is empanelled with Bangalore International Mediation Arbitration And Conciliation Centre. Aparna holds a Diploma in Applied Basic Skills of Counselling as well as in Transactional Analysis.She is deeply passionate about learning and upskilling herself.Aparna recently completed training at Singapore Mediation Centre in 'Strategic Conflict Management for Professionals'.
A pet mom and an avid reader, Aparna loves travelling and trekking in her free time. She particularly enjoys solo travels and has travelled solo in Europe and also many parts of India. She is passionate about nature and makes it her mission to avoid the usage of plastics.
